It can sometimes be hard to visualise how a colour or fabric is going to work in your room. In terms of choosing paint colours there are some brilliant apps that enable you to see different wall colours in your room using your phones camera. I’m sure a lot of us have sat on our sofa one evening playing around with different feature wall ideas! It is a brilliant way to give us a starting point when designing a room. It’s also a great way to help narrow down paint options without having to buy hundreds of testers and making our walls look like Elmer!
So maybe we’ve used a paint app to choose the wall colour, but what next? When it comes to choosing fabrics or even what window treatment to go for it can sometimes be a bit tricky, especially if it’s not something you know a lot about!
There are ways of getting fabric samples, often for free, which you can then hang up see the fabric in your own room. Sometimes though these are too small to really see the pattern or get a feel for what the fabric would look like on a large scale! One option would be to buy say a metre of the fabric to give a more true representation but this could work out very costly!
In order to try and help with the visualisation of a fabric or design I have created digital drawings that can be tailored personally for you to give you an impression of what the fabric would look like!
Perhaps you know you want curtains but are unsure on what different headings, such as pencil pleat or eyelet, would look like. Maybe you’re not sure whether to have a roman blind instead?
